SChnucks is across the street, there is also the always empty MCT buses if you live downtown. If your eating at QT, it's because you like it, you failed to plan your meal ahead of time, or you don't take enough responsibiliy for your own situation to have bought food for your home. I have been guilty of all of the above at one point or another, but I didn't expect someone else to cover my expense. Someone previously clarified how buying food at a convenience store actually worked, part of which I was incorrect, but that wasn't the point of my post. Taking responsibility for doing the morally and ethically correct choice, regardless of your situation, was my point, but you are right we can't know everyone's personal situation, but we still know right and wrong when we seat it. I think society would get better if we had less grey and more black and white situations. We all know good people who have made bad choices and people we don't see as very ethical people being capable of doing the right thing once in awhile. I am not judging someone's soul, I am judging thier choices. I think goverment programs should not allow people who have been put in compromising positions to have the same choices the rest of us, it gives them incentives to get back on their feet. I hope nobody goes on a tangent about disabled citizens. I addressed that in earlier posts. I have no problem with a person born mental disabilities enjoying a Big Mac on my tax dollar once in awhile, I have issues with someone who chooses drugs over a career needing tax dollars for groceries because they refuse to clean up. You don't have to call someone a loser in public to change the world, just choose to not do something because you can, do what you feel is right because someone else might follow your example. I don't mean to preach to everyone, but the topic is as much about people as it is policy.
