I know that the Bush's, especially Baby Bush was as conservative as Clinton was a liberal. I get all that, but welfare still hasn't been reformed. I am all for welfare reform as well. I believe that it is a way to steal from the people, and some people do a good job of it. This idea of a 'cash benefit' is a scary thing. I think if there is cash money for bills, then a payment should go to a utility. Food stamps should be replaced by food provisions, etc. Otherwise, we will continue to see people selling link cards for cash, etc. And no drug use enforcement? I am all for screening people. I have no problem with it.
