I'm sure it will take roughly five months or so. They have to completely resurface the overpass, right down to the structural elements. And we had better hope that it is structurally sound, or else we can expect the project to take much longer. Poor planning? There is no other solution. It must be fixed. If not, the city will eventually have to permanently close it. No amount of "prior planning" by the city could have changed anything. This is the state's ballgame. And don't ever forget, this could happen to anyone if we are not careful: Remember Minneapolis?
