"Timely" like the last overpass?? Besides, they are taking 6 months when there is no traffic?? I don't consider that very timely.
I'm not upset they are making repairs, I'm upset that they closed all the other crossings and THEN decided to make repairs.
Oh, and not everyone goes to St. Louis to work or get to dr appts, etc. I'm not too worried about going to St. Louis now that McKinley is open. This is more about trying to get downtown GC, or to Collinsville or to I64 East.
Also, I don't think Poplar is a good comparison. You have other bridges to get to downtown if Poplar is backed up. The point here, is that the other options to get to downtown Granite are closed off.
