Actually, Opi, the work places are the ones who are watching the clock like a hawk. They don't want you to be early, cuz they don't like you hanging around. You're not allowed to work off the clock and you better clock in and out on the exact dot. Heaven forbid if they pay an extra minute, or you short them a minute. Oh, and it doesn't matter if you stay later to make up for lost time either. You get in trouble. Places don't look at the worker as human anymore, it's all a numbers game to them. The immediate boss might understand, but corporate doesn't.
