<---- Me thinks "You know who" was interested in this post as well. Wow, I knew I wouldn't stop being interesting for long.
That's okay, 'All Posters Welcome' -- as they say in today's lingo -- "That's how I roll."
No one is left out.
My view is with most others, while this will create a problem due to poor planning -- (the closure of damn near every other rail crossing) -- it can work out.
I would say all who live south and west of 25th St. just add 15 minutes and go via Pontoon. IT may sound silly, but it would be a sure way of being on time every time.
If Madison ave is not blocked, there's always the Venice overpass and then the underpass to the McKinley as well. During the morning hours, it shouldn't be too bad.
The closure of 20th, 22nd, and 29th St. crossings made this all the more inconvenient, IMHO.
But as they say, we have handled a lot worse in this beautiful City of ours, and for seven months, we can handle this -- so that the overpass will be operational again.
