The worst of the worst teachers I have encounter have been the most "educated." The best teacher I have ever had, didn't even have a bachelors, when he started teaching. The next few great teachers held a bachelors at best (not even that in one cases,) (PhD) Balin was the worst superintendent I can think of (PhD) Hamilton the worst Principal. Coach Vambuskurk (sp?) knew more about math than at lest one of the match teachers I had, (or at least could explain things much better, which would make him a better teacher) and said math teacher held a masters. Yet Vanbuskurk could barley walk, in my eyes, making a it a little off that he is attempting to educate PE. I know personally a teacher with a Masters, he's just mailing it in everyday. A piece of paper from a school does not mean jack squat about your ability to perform the task you are charged with. I have the Degrees to suggest that I can be put charge of the "mean of production" for any large manufacturing company. My boss, dose not even hold an Associates of Technology, Ive got 3+ of them... Why is he that boss? Because my 5 years of school, and 5 years of work, holds nothing to his near 40 years of experience. It Seems fare to me, that he make more money. if we paid teachers well then that whole problem would go away and thus the whole debate over tenure would go with it. but we do not pay teachers well... BS, stop making that claim, Teacher make on average, the same or more, than the average American. They work less hours, In an air conditioned/heated building. Get paid not to work on any excuse for a holiday, Snow days, sick days, and 3 months of vacation a year. Stop your whining. I have college debt too. whhaaaa whhhaaa
