Parents, Teachers, and Administrators should grow a spine and attend this workshop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejE9FN82O2s We could cut education budgets by 90% and still get better results if this workshop were taken seriously. Instead this system is bloated and there are no results. Now I am all for fair pay - perhaps Granite pays their teachers beyond fair. $50,000 is not an unreasonable salary for a teacher. But if we have what we have. It's all going to waste. Schools should rearrange the letters on the building to "Cesspool". If there is no spine, no authority, and no expectations - we can spend $1,000,000 per student and still fall behind many other countries. We need parents from India, China, Jamaica, and Mexico to be part of this workshop...as well. : )
