Agreed it shouldnt be a way of life. Not sure that this is still a requirement by the state anymore, but at one time those on public aid were required to take GED, or college classes or job training or loose their benefits. I know this because I know someone who refused to go to school and lost the benefits because of that. (no it was not me) There is a great deal of abuse that happens, and I dont know what the answer is to stopping it, I just think that there has to be a way that doesnt punish the children for their parent(s) mistakes
