Come on if you drove a car in to your workshop,and done a timing belt, after which it would not turn over and all timing marks were OK, i,m sure you would put it on TDC and check "overlap or rock as a first port of call.
Also having already checked Martins membership details it seems he is his own boss and not an appentice.
