I have tried the engine with the flap wedged open. The flap never fully closes. there is a 2mm gap around the flap.
The engine continues to miss fire. When the egr valve is taken of the exhaust manifold, so that I can see inside whilst the engine is revved, I can see flames coming from the engines.
I am going to check the engine/pump timing and also the cam shaft etc for signs of ware coursing bad valve timing.
I have cleaned the fuel system from the the tank right up to the gauze int he fuel line that goes in the injector pump, and the return.
I can see fuel coming from the nuts connecting the fuel lines to the injectors. I have had the injectors tested.
Although I can see the fuel coming from the lines should it bee a certain pressure and can I measure the pressure/quantity. What Am I looking for.
I use auto data, but it doesn't have any info.
