Sorry I never used the words miss fire, but said sounds terrible and belows smoke. It sounds fine at idle speed and ok at low revs. When revved up it sounds terrible/ missfires and belows smoke. when it starts to missfire flames come the head. I have done a compression test. All 4 cylinders reach 500psi with the needle climbing at the same time, with the throttle body wide open. I am going to do a cylinder leakdown test when I've check the timing is all right and have taken the rocker cover off and get each cylinder at tdc and the valves shut. No the flap doesn't have a position sensor.
