I did use the word "overlap" for a couple of reasons, firstly when i was much younger i built race engine,s and had cams ground to my profiles (duration, lift and overlap. Second i was trying to see if Martin would work out the meaning like you did.
I do worry about Martins knowledge, he has a post here (which you have posted on) on an Iveco which seems to be going nowhere since 16 October.
His post on a Fiat PAS started of that he had removed the rack, when he had removed the column, and he was surprised the motor had continuity across the motor terminals.
And then there is this post, with data like compressions "500 psi and rising", info. NOT supplied when asked for.
Perhaps i am wrong to point out all this, but better than no comments at all, and if Martin does not like it all he needs to do is improve his posts and get on some traing course,s or is he another that can,t be bothered as per training course thread.
I hold you and your view in high respect, but i do see things differently.
