Hi Keith Without some form of pressure/vac testing tool, it might be a struggle to confirm the vacuum pump itself is functioning correctly. On the subject of Vac pump functionality, has anyone gathered any test data, that shows how quickly a vacuum pump can develop 20"/hg? I am sure that we have all seen examples where 20"/hg is developed, but it can take an age to get there. We could take steps to make sure that there are no leaks in any system, but there are often so many & some are hidden away. A "default" test would be useful, so that the pump performance could be quantified. Any thought? Sorry for the drift off topic. Regards Dave
