There are a lot of crappy renters out there, yes. But, there are some that are very good. Hubby and I had rented since we got together back in 1989 up until we bought our first house together, here in Granite City, last year. If you ask any of our landlords about us, they would tell you that we took very good care of those homes. Our last landlord was so impressed that he gave us back our deposit plus some. I do believe that a large proportion of the section 8 renters are not good renters, though.
