We did a candlelight vigil last year when one of my son's friends passed away. It was a heroin overdose too. It was nice and we let the kids talk about the good times and good memories. It was a good way to help them heal and we had a counselor and a couple of adults there in case any of the kids needed to talk. We just listened and didn't judge. Sometimes thats what they need...just someone to listen.
