So, its not just me. I was thinking the same thing. Blaming anyone and everyone except the person who makes the choice to stick a needle in their arm.
The seed is planted in the brain of every young child that is enrolled in public schools. "Just say NO to drugs". Then, all the years after that in every grade to follow the same information is offered, pounded, and preached to all children...Drugs Kill, just say no to drugs.
Times have changed and it is a far different world today compared to growing up in the 60's or 70's. There is an endless amount of information for young people today at their finger tips on the subject of drugs and the effects and consequences of using them.
Even most of us cigarette smoking, dope smoking dummies back in the 60's and 70's knew not to stick a damn needle in our arms. We were not educated on drugs or cigarettes back then either, we just knew better...its called common sense.
I couldn't believe the mind set of some of the people making the posts on that page. Holding the "Government" responsible for the Heroin usage and the deaths as a result of. What else can the Government do...they educate, write laws, fund programs all centered around drug addition and prevention. Yet, some people STILL make the choice to stick a needle in their arm or gamble with their lives by abusing other drugs or alcohol.
