I was curious as to why this event is on a weekday from 9-12. Most people work during those hours...and I'm sure there are school kids that would like to attend. This drug has affected a lot of our young people in this town. I think people would be surprised at how readily available this drug is in this town. When a 15 yr old can get heroin...something is wrong. Peer pressure is going to be the best combat against this drug right now. Friends need to stop friends from doing it...instead of sitting back and watching. The kids that I know of that have died from this drug were not alone when they overdosed! Most people aren't. It's like drinking...who wants to do it alone. Its a social issue that is kept behind closed doors. Its time for people to start standing up and telling their friends and loved ones not to do it. Not saying anything, or looking the other way isn't the solution. Tough love is the best way to keep them alive. Sorry...I just needed to vent. This stuff is breaking my heart.
