Your opinions were merely insults and your suggestions were impractical and smacked of someone who is clueless about business, or is of the mindset that anyone who owns one is rolling in the dough.
To "suggest" that he open a second location or merely relocate, clearly indicates that you are of that mindset.
I don't drop my children off anywhere, because my children are grown and have children of their own. And I guarantee you they aren't dropping them at the pool hall or at Stopkotte's.
My daughters would not have been allowed in a pool hall at age sixteen, with friends or not. They were busy cheerleading and playing sports, and their father wouldn't have allowed it.
I don't know where in tarnation, attempting to speak your language, a dry county even exists in this day and time, but you must have lived a pretty sheltered life to believe that anyone who partakes of alcohol automatically becomes drunk and unable to conduct themselves appropriately in a social setting.
Again, this is this man's business, he is trying to increase his business by bringing in pool playing, money spending ADULTS who play on leagues, as a team, as in "sports", weekly. He has said that teens aren't interested, they aren't coming in.
Again, I'll ask you, could you afford to maintain a business and to relocate or make all the changes you describe? If so, you should open up a place like you describe. I mean get right in there and invests thousands and thousands of your own dollars trying to draw in the public.
And for you to suggest that you and your daughter have enough influence to keep others from frequenting this man's establishment is laughable. If you and your daughter are that influential why isn't the place packed with your friends and family? And no, I have no personal interest in this whatsoever, only wish to see him have a fighting chance at something he's invested so much time and energy in, and don't think he should be denied a liquor license because your kid will be walking around at the skating rink's parking lot.
If you have read on here for any length of time, surely you realize things can get pretty heated, and a lot of people on here won't back down when they consider something stupid.
