I know I might sound harsh but we are trying to make downtown a better place to go, plus it's the arts that the city is concentrating on. John ferry is the city economic chairman and is on the Harc committee which has a say on what comes downtown.
That would be Arts AND Entertainment Gare.
Jonathon Ferry is the Economic Developer, and yes, I know about the HARC committe.
This is not news to me.
What is news to me is that you have self appointed yourself as a wannabe liquor commissioner who is making downtown a better place, consider you have included yourself in the process.... "but we are trying to make downtown a better place to go"
Since you have your finger on the pulse of what would be considered appropiate and inappropriate downtown, I have to ask, have you reviewed the approved business list generated by city hall for those wanting to start a business in the TIFF district of downtown?
If not you might request a copy from those you are talking to at city hall, or from the HARC committee....I hate to bust your bubble, but a whole lotta possible elbow bending businesses on that list...do you plan on fighting everyone of them?
Besides with all the time you will be spending at the Super WalMart, Target and Golden Corral, why do you even care what happens at the pool hall?
