re programmed in firing order
Had car back all day today Have re programmed all injectors in firing order Inj 1 = Cyl 1 Inj 2 = Cyl 3 inj 3 = Cyl 4 Inj 4 = Cyl 2 CDP said as normal, coding succeeded. Re coding in firing order has made absolutely NO difference at all. code p2339 will not erase. After re programming car was taken for 30 mile drive stopping and re starting every 5 miles to allow for a number of drive cycles. Code still will not erase, glow light flashing, will not rev past 4k. Then we re coded as per Autocom instructions Inj 1 (timing chain end) = cyl 1 Inj 2 = Cyl 2 Inj 3 = Cyl 3 Inj 4 = Cyl 4 Absolutely no discernible difference in how the car performs at all between both types of coding. revs clean to 4K no smoke sound fine. But will not erase code p2339. car was again taken for a 30 mile drive including 6 drive cycles.Code still will not erase, glow light flashing, will not rev past 4k. But one thing we have noticed after programming either way, if we read fault codes immediately after any re-programming sequence we get fault code P1664 (injector pump control module malfunction) This code will instantly erase and after both 30 mile drive cycles does not return. only sets after injector programming. Any thoughts before i throw the towel in Hope you all have a good weekend DJ i'm doing something simple digging 8 tone of earth out of my kitchen floor
