Anything I have seen negative in PE grades is due to dressing and we have taken care of that issue so I was pretty sure I was getting a relatively accurate story. That definately is a student and parental problem, not the schools in any way as far as we are concerned. I am very glad they have the sky site. My wife checks it often.
I hope everyone understands that my post was not meant to bash teachers. I wanted to know what other parents knew about this issue. Also my negative post about his 4th grade experience at Maryville should not be seen as condemnation of all teachers. I was merely expressing how poorly a situation was handled by one teacher and how it is overlooked by the administration for various reasons.
I also stated how his experience was the exact oppostive the following year with a new teacher in a different school in the same district. We all know people who exceed our expectations in the jobs they do and we probably know a couple that make us scratch our heads wondering how they can keep a job. Both are ambassodors to the public or customer base of whatever organization that employs them.
We are customers of the school systems. People do have a choice. We either move to a city or move away because of the services we receive, our children's educations, and the cost of living here. Government employees, politicians, and appointees sometimes forget who funds their payroll.
