Like that is going to happen, and even if it did, I am sooo sure the teacher would act as they normally would when no parent was present. Pffffft.
i always have people in my class. many teachers have student-teachers. classrooms are a easily accessible for parents - i would encourage any parent who wanted to sit in my class to sit in my class - i would do what i always do.
as for all the other stuff you spit...
the teacher is the highly educated professional. the child is the adolescent.
that sits perfectly fine with me.
If anyone decides to educate themselves to become a teacher, they now know what they are dealing with, and if they aren't capable of teaching under those conditions, they need to look for another career.
not only do we know what we are dealing with...
but we also know we are under-paid, over-worked, and do a great service to this nation with little recognition...
thus is the conviction of a teacher. anyone "teaching" for the money is crazy and stupid...and i have yet to meet any teacher that does this...
i have met bad teachers...but even if they are bad their hearts are usually in the right place.
teachers, if this were "a brave new world" - are the alpha.
