Just looking at the decreasing numbers from Boomers to Gen X and the difference in average wealth from the two, simple economics say that Boomer's assets will fall in value fast once the slide in valuations begin. Gen X simply doesn't have enough money to buy all of the Boomer housing stock at current market prices. The Millennials are a larger group, but they are even poorer.
And I've got more bad news for you. Those sweet muscle cars collections from the 50s/60s/70s along with the RVs, golf carts, the snowbird condos in Florida and Scottsdale.....those are all going to be selling at a 1/3 to 1/2 price in the next 5-10 years because the younger generations don't want them and can't afford them even if they did.
