I am a believer - and I am Pro-Life from womb to tomb. There is a lot about me that would surprise you.

There is a good reason I don't want to get into the faith topic --- but I will leave it to one sentence --- even if I need a few semicolons.

Prayers are good and I believe that God hears our prayers, but there is a time when we must also work toward an answer to our prayers; God has given us the ability to bring solutions to the problems of our lives and our society; it never hurts to petition God and to believe in God's intervention, but we must also use our God-given gifts and participate in the solution.

That's all I'm going to say on the religion part.

    And another one ---

Thoughts and prayers by themselves with no actions --- are Disingenuous and hypocritical...

I will then exit the faith conversation. It's too personal - and it's a place most people would not want me to go. I will not entertain people throwing back and forth their favorite Bible quotes and trying to justify why they can still withhold compassion and call themselves Christians. I'll pass on that exercise in futility.
