Not really, freedom and liberty were some of the biggest things they worried about. They didn't want to be silenced, they knew the importance of being able to assemble, they knew the importance of being able to own their guns. Maintaining the Freedom they just fought their government to obtain was big on their mind. It was their own government they had to fight, so they also had it in their minds that it was government who needed to be controlled and limited.
