If this were an all out assault on indecent exposure, there may be something about this measure I could support.
However, Collinsville is TARGETING on type of exposure and ONE style of clothing.
I'll stop short of calling it racial profiling.
Sagging has transcended cultures.
But it begs the question> Why sagging pants, but not other forms of dress, that could possibly be even more lewd or even more revealing?
I say just outlaw all forms of lewd dress.
Matter of fact, just enforce a dress code, and have cops write tickets for people whose shirts are not tucked in, and if they don't have the right clothes, drive them to the station and detain them until someone brings a change of clothes.
or a better idea...
Leave people the hell alone. If you don't like, don't look.
I can't stand 'saggin' either. But I choose not to sag...and I'm happy.
Anyone who likes freedom, and wants to throw the Constitution in my face for any future argument...I hope you would naturally be against this grossly unconstitutional measure.
