If I had a psychiatrist, opinionated, it would surely not be you. Yes, I defend these young people because I see the future of my city in their hands as opposed to the 60 Somethings that currently run our city. As u should know, we're on the gradual decline and obviously we (meaning adults) arent can't or won't stop it. As for your criticism of my comment...yes I do that we are qualified to determine who and what a good teacher is and who can or should be terminated. It does not take a human resource specialist or a rocket scientist for that matter find out the workings of teacher. Also, I find that maybe our school district is in the shape that it is because people like you think it's a business. Students in the district and parents of those students don't want to be a part of a business, we simply want an educational system that reflects how we live our lives. College is a business...public school is not. Believe it or not, parents and students need a driving factor to go to school. Referring to it as a business transaction is not the way to do so.
