Too early to know I think. I'd like to see some of the newcomers tell us how they would fix "all" the problems. I'd also like them to declare up front that they would never consider hiring a relative or make deals as has been alledged on here before about current members. Here's a few comments on those I do know. Mrs. Scroggins: Nice lady. Taught for years in the theater. Seems genuinely interested in kids. I believe her brother got a job but not during her tenure on the board. Mr. Dillard: Taught my kids and many others how to drive. Nice man. Mrs. Yates: I know her husband better than I do her. From what I hear she was a quality teacher and cares a great deal about special education. Perhaps her knowledge would keep the current director under control if what we have read is true. Mr. Levault: Married to a board office administrator. I don't know the man personally. Mrs. Petrillo: Long time educator at the high school. Her husband is a county board member and her daughter is an administrator at the high school for special education. Don't know the lady well but seems like too much power for one family. Mr. Lloyd: Don't know him well enough to comment. Mr. Fisher: Same. He is a good cop from what I know. Mr. Bischoff: His dad was a long time teacher and administrator. He was a good man. I don't know if the young one followed in dad's footsteps. That's about all I know so far. I know there are more contestants. Hopefully they will tell us about themselves in their campaign.
