Basically if the teachers show up, don't steal, and don't sleep with their students, they cannot be dismissed. My second comment recognized that if you approached any students or their parents for that matter, they could give u a list of teachers that do NOT teach. I'm merely saying that something must be corrected in this process Really? On what do you base any of these statements? There are teachers who have been released in the past prior to reaching tenure status. And how would the parents and kids determine "who" teaches and who doesn't? You mean they don't teach the way the kids and the parents want them to? Are there teachers who need to improve. Absolutely. Are you, me or any other parent qualified to determine that? Have you taken courses in human resource management to know what steps have to be taken to establish termination? Optimist, I make it a hobby on here to evaluate poosters, their personality, their motives, their backgrounds etc.... Here's what I have determined thus far about you. You joined less than a week ago. You've posted approximately eight times and each time in this thread. Within those post you have touted these young people in almost every one. You boast only their age as an atribute. To that end it is my guess that you are indeed one of the two young men OR a friend of theirs. The reality is these are both probably two great kids. Good students, well behaved, straight, white teeth etc..... That hardly makes one a good choice to operate a sixty million dollar business. I would love to see these kids get involved in an entry level situation such as that citizens advisory committee. There, they could gain a better sense of the operations of a school district, personal interaction of ADULTS, etc.... Again,I'm not putting them down as individuals. My kids were great students, had white, straight teeth but God knows being on a public board at twenty isn't something I would encourage them to do. Just my two cents worth.
