As stated in my last post....."But now when i remove this egr blank and if it does run fine i can never be sure she wont be stuck with egr problems again as i am again relying on it not being jammed open. Do you think this will work with a knackered egr valve?? I think im being fed a load of c##p by them. I asked if they can delete the egr and dpf and they said yes so i paid the cash ,now they are back tracking on their word."


It seems i have been fleeced! My belief about removing egr blank is correct,, It failed on me yesterday stranded with no phone signal and a car that woudnt do a thousand revs without a big cloud of smoke and then stalling. Code: p0489 and p0409.
Had o get tools and replace blanking plate to get it home.

16/12/13 quick update. Rang them up today asked him what he is gonna do to sort it and he told me there is nothing wrong with it and hung up on me!!! looks like i spent £180 for nothing!
