I'm particularly fond of 60s Oldies. It's not on in Chicago. Milwaukee has it. For a different reason. It works as a flanker like 100.3 does. They're not too worried about billing really well. Just trying to chop down the ratings of another station so another in the cluster can have higher ratings. It's working. Look at WKLH's numbers that were released today.
The Oldies format gets really good ratings too on a terrible signal. Doing exactly what they want. Propping up another in the cluster and having an audience of it's own.
In Chicago, it's not happening. MeTV-FM is the closest we have, but it's more into the 70s and 80s now.
