Liberal was and is a psycho, most of the other libs couldnt even grow to love, so you cant overly pad your resume on him Opie. He was a punching bag, LOL The overpass going into Mallard Park which water flows under is full of all kinds of debris including what looked like a big railroad tie just a few weeks ago. Id say that even though it appears that water can get through ive seen the lake at times actually back up at that location. Its one of those deals where the township says its the village and the village says its the township things. I dont really concern myself with it anymore whats the point really? Both sides of the bridge where currently 15 foot tall sucker trees grow used to be cut. They stopped maintaining that area about 2 years before Mayor Denham left because of the cost of gas i was told. Since that time that location is growing wild with the trees and other weeds. I dont know who is responsible for keeping the free flow of water going, or even how much it would really matter, but it isnt anywhere near 100%, 50% would be a better guess. To this point maybe it has not really mattered. I bet in this entire area the same thing could be said in most every other location under most every bridge that the water flows under. The year of the great flood the water was actually over the top of the bridge and flowing rather rapidly on the road itself. No amount of tree clearing or weed whacking would have stopped that barrage. During the recent monsoon some of our roads were unpassale for a while but it didnt last long. I woke up to water 15 feet from my porch to the road itself being a little damp 2 hours later.
