Mr. Adler, I have to agree with you. Tall grass, short grass, medium high grass, which ever the case may be, would not hold back or prevent the draining of this ditch, and I believe most people realize this. You have nailed this situation perfectly and more than that, accurately, with your comments in the article. But, we all know these die hard Democrats will stop at nothing, especially the democrats of this town, laying blame and pointing fingers that will help them achieve their ultimate goal, and we all know what that is. Everyone knows that Pontoon Beach would have been manning 24 hour pumps and boating the residents out of both trailer parks had it not been for the careful planning and controlling of the water levels of Horseshoe Lake. Even though new drainage was put in under the highway, that would not have prevented flooding of the area alone, but let's not state the obvious, especially when doing so doesn't further the democrat's agenda. What a tangled web, these dems. Close ties and friendships and decades of families, and you're nothing more than a thorn in their sides. I'm afraid you have tackled a mountain this time my friend, a big, intertwined, network of a mountain and I wish you the best. My hope is that the town's people are smarter than this, and tired of the decades of non sense when voting in democrat after democrat. Try not to take this all personally, the people are pissed and are desperate to blame anyone and anything they think will help them to win this lawsuit. You just happen to be a convenient fall guy for the dems.
