Everyone needs to change their attitude about the town, myself included, we all need to change. Brenda Whitiker pointed that out to me, regarding myself and others. we all need to pull together. and, i might add, we need to patronize local business.
I agree but when the fight is over............... My problem isn't supporting local businesses because I do. However there are only a small handful of local businesses any more. His job and the mayor's for that matter are to bring in NEW business.
Kool Beanz, LaSelles, Rodericks are all still very good places to grab a bite to eat. I periodically go to our DQ because it is locally owned. Our theater is as good and better than some others. The live theater (brain fart can't remember the name) is something that numerous other communities don't even have.
We need a couple of major retailers. You haven't been able to buy a man's suit in Granite for over 20 years. That says a great deal about the demographics.
I think that the people who care are burned out. Time for a little excitement if you want folks to stay involved.
