    Okay a couple of questions.

What does economic development have to do with cell tower locations? Wouldn't that be under engineering or building projects?

This one really blows the mind. Why is an economic developer working on union contracts? That is the job of the mayor, the comptroller and the department heads. What background does Amos have in negotiations? He's a pastor by trade.

I never thought about the tie of religion to the possible concern over gun sales at Rural King. I hope that is only a rumor.

I'm really trying to keep a good attitude. I give some slack to things that I think the city could do better because I'm not in their shoes.

However, you don't have to be a politician or city administrator to know one major problem the city has is bringing commercial development here. No new businesses last year other than the CVS Pharmacy and a now defunct trampoline joint.

It's clear that the Fairy kid and now Amos have no skill at that job and we should move on. If the mayor can't handle a potential developer, he should use other professionals on an as needed basis. For example, a company calls and wants to talk about locating on Route 3 in a retail type store. Invite them in, talk to them and then see what their expectations are. Maybe they want a TIF. We have attorneys well versed in that aspect. Maybe they want some help with infrastructure. We have a city engineer and building inspection department.

We're not laying out a city or even a specific area. We are looking for people to develop in a very narrow choice of properties.

I know Alderdan has been on here before and I respect that he's probably only an observer now. I trust him based on earlier responses that he has the city's best interest at heart. Dan, if you're out thee, give us a crumb of bread toward some of these issues. Let us know something.

Former alderman Whitaker comes here occasionally and probably has more business sense than Amos and John Fairy. Maybe she could assist the Mayor in contacting companies on a consultant fee basis.

We're in emergency status folks. Look at the for sale signs. Look at the median value of homes. Look at the average income. Look at our infrastructure.

The hole in the dam is getting bigger. It won't change my life because there's not enough left but the young couples trying to raise a family here need help.

    End of rant.
