Picard, I'm about as conservative as they come. I'm too old to leave Illinois but I will encourage my kids to if things don't change.
Again, the proposed sales tax can ONLY be used for structural improvements to those old buildings. It can't be used for salaries by statute.
Not sure what you mean about the schools stealing money. The asked for a referendum and told us that they would have to borrow money if the issue failed. It failed, they borrowed money. Now they have to pay that money back.
