Do you really need to be that ignorant Gains? It was just a comparison. There is no Pace to compare it with in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville. The DIY lasted as long as it could against Lowes and Home Depot and the old hardware store in Edwardsville closed to become a Dewey's Pizza. We don't even have a True Value in either place.
I picked Lowes as there is one up there also. What should I choose for you? Walmart, Aldi's, Subway, Subway, Subway, Subway (since there are 4 in Granite City/Pontoon Beach), Jimmy John's, Quik Trip, Goodwill, Quizno's, Sherwin-Williams, Imo's, Burger King, Walgreen's, Car-X/Midas, etc?
You can't tell me everyone is trapped in Granite City for everything. If you are out driving around in Collinsville and you need to grab a quick lunch, are you going to drive all the way back to Nameoki Road to get something?
Just so you know, I do support going to Pace Hardware. I really don't need you to tell me where to spend my money, although if you need to know, I do spend it here, wherever I can. If I feel like purchasing a Cadillac, should I just wait around until a dealership opens out there off of Rte 3?
