So whats the big deal? The solution seems simple, as outline below...
- Secure the southern border with force and mortar.
- Force all illegals to accept citizenship...or be deported immediately. The anchor babies can be taken away and placed in permanent adoption agencies if the illegals refuse to take them. The older kids get deported regardless.
- All employers found to be hiring illegals will be jailed and face penalties.
- Impose English as the national language and require at least some knowledge of it before acquiring citizenship.
- And finally, the most important issue facing our border: we need to end the drug war. Not only does it threaten our own citizenships, but it has led to extreme instability in part of Mexico, which has consequentially led to many Mexicans desperately fleeing to America.
Ultimately, the only way to end illegal immigration is to help Mexico reach the economic prosperity that we have. That is the same reason why we don't have that problem along our northern border: Canada is first-world. A drug war, coupled with the constant option to flee to America, is destroying Mexico's chances at further economic improvement.
