What your saying is it is okay for Jose or anyone else to break a law if the need is great enough. Come on Dee. Even you libs have to see both parties are wrong in this scenario.
Give thanks to the power you see fit - that you have never had that kind of desperation in your life.
I don't care what country was our neighbor - if it were significantly poorer or if their masses were, you would get immigrants from that neighboring Country. If it were Afghanistan, Laos, Nigeria, or Bolivia - the people of the poorer country will try it.
If the civil law and the moral law are one in the same for you, then you are really fortunate.
I know I am really fortunate too.
I never said it was 'okay' for anyone to come in and do anything illegally include enter illegally.
I am just saying that the rhetoric about people coming in to take from this system is way off base.
This system needs to be reformed for both reason - so that the real bastards in this - the employers who cheat, the drug dealers and those who wish to do us harm will not exploit people or resources.
It needs to be reformed so that if people are cleared to work - we know who is in our country, why they are here - and if they're earning - they also provide for the general welfare (via taxes). This way they are also working in a safe environment - and paying taxes.
It is simple really.
But no, I can never look at a person who is desperate to support their family as doing anything different than what I would try to do if I were in the same situation.
