Who said anything about meticulous debate skills? I'm just happy to be back into the status quo of things.
It's been a long time since I studied all the fallacies in argumentation. I forgot what they all are - there were about 8 or 10 of them.
I'll be honest and say I'm not bringing my A game to a conversation that has been had way too many times. I'm happy enough that it's not among trolls.
It's almost too routine. Maybe I need to do what Metal did for a while. Maybe in a few more weeks. IT's getting time though.
My stance isn't far from anyone elses really -
- Immigration needs to be reformed. We need to know who's here.
- We need to know who's on everyone's payroll and those who are getting paid for what they do pay taxes.
- Employers need to pay correct wages, ensure a safe working environment - and not exploit workers.
Whether a corporatist Conservative, a laissez faire Libertarian, or a Patriotic Liberal or even a well-balanced moderate like Me-- I think all agree this system needs to be reformed.
