Here's an individual photo of the implement, Astral. It's made from Macassar Ebony (I think...the maker did tell me but it was so long ago I don't remember. However I think that's right), which is very heavy and dense, and so one must be very careful when swinging this puppy.

However the polish on this is smooth as satin, and it's incredibly sensual to the touch. It's just lovely to hold. Probably less lovely to be spanked with.
