You know, I actually don't remember meeting anyone who disliked rootbeer growing up... Rootbeer floats were a pretty common thing to have at parties, at least where I grew up.

Though I hear that many people not from the US really hate it. I've heard some people say it reminds them of medicine/mouthwash, or they just can't handle the sugar.
