In my experience, lots of people experience sleep issues. Many of my loved ones have some sort of trauma in their background, and that tends to lead to trouble sleeping. But I don't have any trauma and I have insomnia all the time. I think part of it is this "new normal" of being indoors and less active much of the time. It's like my system is a bit turned around and isn't as regulated to the daylight hours as it used to be. Another thing I have to try is to get back to doing daily walks. I noticed that I tend to sleep better when I do that, but I haven't been able to achieve it yet.
