Astral narrowed her eyes at the implement. "The smaller the better, huh?" Astral trailed off. She gave it a few experiment swishes through the air. Her eyes widened and she then looked back down at the fluffy paddle.

"You know, Carrie, even with a covering of fur that paddle is pretty large." Astral said thoughtfully. "You said it yourself, 'the smaller the better'." She put the cane in Carries hands and said, "I insist from the bottom of my heart that you take it! I can pick something else." 😇

(Also, Alyx, I hope you're holding up alright. No worries if you have other things to do and can't participate or if you just need to relax and take care of yourself.

So about my name, I picked it because I really like space! I think a lot of people see it as desolate, but it always has felt pretty hopeful to me. Something about the possibility of meeting other living things out there makes me feel excited!

Also on my blog that I still haven't posted anything to, I picked the username Astralotl. I took the last part from one of my favorite animals, the axolotl, and I think they're particularly cute!)
