At the meeting they talked about just that, but no guarantees were givin. Dont quote me on this, but i think the term used was tinkering around the edges, and doing what we can do. An added pump also was to be added at Mallard Park. People seemed happy after the meeting, well most anyway. Continually it was stated that any real long term fix would be very costly, and that the money was just not available. Nobody wants to be flooded, it happened to me years ago and it sucked. BUT.... when the engineers say, a real fix will cost money that we dont have, that doesnt leave a hell of a lot of gray area.
