    Falsities? I'll be happy to site several credible news sites that are reporting about college faculty establishing "safe spaces" for these students to grieve over the election.

    Was I ever a parent, oh you bet I was. I have five children. Five.

    And there isn't a single sniveling crybaby in the bunch. All productive, respectful adults, caring and compassionate, with children of their own. Who are now teaching their children that you work hard and earn the things you want in life and when you hit a bump in the road or life throws you a big pile of crap, as it will definitely do, you do your best to get through it. There are times it won't be easy, but you are a smart, strong individual who can count on being OK.

    Assumptions? Yeah, I have made a few. I've made tens of thousands in my lifetime. And for the sake of this argument, I'll assume you know I'm older and come from a generation that will never be able to claim I understand the kids I'm describing. It's not how I was raised, it's not how I raised my children.

    Now, back to the falsities you speak of...
