Whisker, you should be looking at the state level. This governor and his cronies are the ones who have put the distress on Granite and other districts. I recently heard that the state owes Granite over 5 million dollars. Other districts are owed more in some cases. That's where the criminal element is.
Quinn makes over $150,000 and does nothing to promote the state or fix the problems. The feds shut down government ( and who really notices )? I haven't missed them. It's not just a matter of salaries. Public salaries have spiked in recent years but that's not the reason the country is going broke. It's taking care of more and more lazy, baby mama, goldbricks who don't pay their share. It's giving people who don't work everything they need to survive. Shut off that faucet before you fault a guy who puts in the hours that Greenwald probably does.
