...that would drip with discrimination, but because it is children - somehow it is looking like a different face.

It's not discrimination considering children are minors and do not have the same rights as adults, and are required to follow a different set of rules as children.

Children under eighteen are not allowed in bars or places where liquor is served after a certain hour.

Children are not allowed in casinos or bingo halls.

Children are not allowed to get a driver's license until a certain age, normally sixteen.

Children are not allowed to sign a legal contract until eighteen years of age.

Children are not allowed to ride certain amusement rides at theme parks.

There are dozens and dozens of child-free resorts in Mexico and abroad because they cater to adults only.

Children aren't allowed in theaters where a movie other than PG or PG13 is being shown.

There are many adult only apartment complexes throughout the country.

Many times there are "child-free" weddings and formal gatherings.

I'm sure there are many other examples, but none come to mind at the moment.

If a private business owner's policy is "adults only", that's their right. They are not breaking any laws, so it's not discrimination.

Children have the right to be safe, loved, nurtured, fed, clothed, encouraged, to be educated and valued. Unfortunately these aren't all legal rights, but you get the picture.

They do not, by mere existance, have the same rights an adult.

There are enough restaurants and other types of establishments who are not child-free for people to take their children to. And if someone who does not want to be around children, they should avoid these places or enter without complaint.
