I totally agree Alohagirl. I think in my quick response to somehow correct or bring to her attention how inappropriate her comment was, considering the the feelings of the people in the shop, I somehow ascertained subconsciously (fight or flight response took over) that I could probably take her down in any altercation.
I truly believe the group of people in our society that exhibit the character of this little chicky, know that tax-paying, ethical and moral people will just let these asides go. They will never learn from this, and possily have never been taught that taxpayers are not their personal banks. They believe that the money they get every month comes from the state. They have yet to learn where that comes from!
